The perfume Gulnaz by Tola Perfumery takes its name from the Persian name for a flower, one whose scent and sight will delight and comfort all who encounter it in its path.
The sophisticated fragrance opens with warm and spicy notes of cinnamon, cardamom, thyme and saffron, after which the floral heart unfolds in geranium, ylang-ylang, orris and oud. The ambery base excites the senses through patchouli, amber, leather and cedarwood.
The story of the perfume:
Each step becomes heavier than the last as the two friends slowly make their way to the top. The amber glow of the setting sun casts the rugged path before them in sharp relief. But the vibrant colours of the geraniums and irises in the landscape push them forward, ensuring that they do not forget the fruitfulness of their venture. They stop for tea on a protruding rock and the rich aroma of saffron and cardamom fills the air. The road is long, but they are grateful not to be travelling alone.
