Paradisone® Since Edmund Roudnitska's incorporation of it in the pioneering Eau Sauvage, Hedione® has become one of the most widely used ingredients in the perfume world. Paradisone®, a molecule developed and patented by Firmenich in 1996, is the purest, rarest and most potent form of the compound naturally found in jasmine. The fragrance: the flower of angels Paradisone® is "the angelic aroma of a million flowers... a whirlwind of tenderness and diffusion", in the poetic words of perfumer Arcadi Boix-Camps. In the incredibly radiant efflor_esce, Frank Voelkl blows a heavenly breeze over a Garden of Eden-like Sicilian orchard. Touched by the radiant soul of jasmine, the fruit, leaves, twigs and orange blossom unfold their intense, sunny scents. Bergamot adds a peppery sparkle; osmanthus its apricot-like fragrance; and tuberose its intoxicating sillage. This is nature, but better: destination paradise.
