Manet's masterpiece Le déjeuner sur l'herbe caused a real scandal when art critics saw it in Paris, in 1863. Despite Manet's references to the Classics, the scene depicted - of two fully clothed men picnicking in the woods with a naked woman - was dismissed as obscene by his contemporaries. This raw modernity guided perfumer Pellegrin through this Cologne creation, stimulating him to reinvent neroli, or rather, the distillation of orange blossom by injecting a saturation of light. At the heart of the cologne, he placed a solar accord with white musk and amber ingredients, and an overdose of oxygen to blur all preconceptions.

How to
For the ultimate perfume experience, apply the perfume to warm skin, i.e. pulse points such as your neck, wrist, inner part of your elbows and the back of your knees. For perfume spray: Diffuse a 'cloud' of perfume in the air and walk through, your hair is an excellent perfume carrier (however, never spray directly onto the hair).
