Volutes opens with fresh spices, pink pepper, pepper from Madagascar and saffron. Velvety yet reserved and further deepened at the heart by warm and dry hay and a beautiful golden honey note. Iris gives a feeling of supple and soft suede while immortelle and myrrh together with tobacco evoke a vague memory of cigarette smoke and even bitumen; after all, we are on board a ship. Volutes, however, encompasses more than a beautiful tobacco scent, a kaleidoscope in which all facets - fruits, flowers, aromas and spices - return to showcase its rich qualities and accentuate its base. Stirax, opoponax and benzoin (obtained in a, for the industry, completely new way to be even more powerful and 'real' in application).
